My name is Corey Johnson, and I am the owner and creator of EvalsOmaha, LLC. I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Bachelor of Science and Social Work and a Substance Abuse Professional qualification. I have worked as a counselor in Outpatient Treatment, Residential Treatment, and Medicated-Assisted Treatment. The solution for individuals who struggle with substance use problems is the same for everyone, right? WRONG!! Over the years of working in different environments attempting to help individuals overcome their substance use, I have learned that there is no right or wrong way to solve substance use-related problems. However, the process and mindset are crucial. My philosophy is that there are steps on how to resolve substance use-related problems. Motivation is the first step to solving substance use disorders; if there is no motivation to change, then change will not happen.
